It's become pretty much unavoidable that I run into Kelly Rutherford (Serena Van Der Woodsen's mom in Gossip Girl) at Nanette Lepore's fashion shows, and this season, I ended up sitting directly across from her. I figured I would do the usual introduction and snap a selfie, but this time we actually got to talking a bit (made possible by the smaller venue). She definitely knows my name now after we took at least ten pictures together, one in every angle as we tried to get the lighting right.
