NYFW Michael Costello Fashion Show Spring/Summer 2016

The Michael Costello show was at Pier 59 studios this year, and it drew quite a crowd! Cat Sadler, the Real Housewives of Atlanta cast members, and Pia Mia were just a few of the stars that studded the audience seats.

Going into Costello’s spring/summer 2016 runway show, I was expecting the beautiful couture evening-wear dresses he is known for. And the show didn’t fail to impress! The collection was bold and bright, with colors like neon pink, emerald green, and bright yellow lighting up the runway. Necklines were deep, slits were high, and sleeves were long. A trend that I noticed taking over the runway and the crowd was jumpsuits and bodysuits. They are definitely making a strong comeback! Michael Costello did a great job of turning the jumpsuit into elegant evening couture. My favorite look was the nude silk two-piece with the asymmetrical neckline. So stunning.
