NYFW Georgine Fashion Show Spring/Summer 2016
Happy Wednesday, loves! A quick recap of the Georgine SS16 show for you guys today! It was truly an honor to be able to go to a show at the Skylight at Moynihan Station and be a part of the NYFW experience. This was my first time at the Georgine show, guest blogging for Louboutins & Love, and it was absolutely spectacular.
From the hustle and bustle and chaos of pre-show preparations, to the plastic unveiling of the runway (yes, they had plastic cover the runway which was removed last minute), to the actual show itself...looking around and trying to spot the celebrities of the crowd and being completely awestruck by the collection--I'd say it was a true NYFW experience. The collection itself featured loose silhouettes accented by structured coats, floral lace embellishments, and bright pops of color, with a focus on the color block trend. What I wasn't expecting was the use of fur as embellishment--on shirt sleeves, pom pom scarves, and belt bags, hinting that maybe fur accessories are on their way back in.
Hope you enjoyed this little recap! Happy Fashion Week fashionistas,
