My Top 10 Favorite Spots In Paris

My Top 10 Favorite Spots In Paris

It breaks my heart that travel is postponed indefinitely right now, but while I was looking through old vacation pictures, I figured what better time to share my top 10 favorite spots in Paris. I created this list for a few of my followers who reached out for recommendations before their own Paris trips, but I’d love to continue updating it as I think of more.

  1. Palais Royal - My favorite spot in Paris. I used to just sit by the fountain after school to relax and work on my book. It’s also right next to Les Colonnes de Buren, so you can get your Insta shot by the black and white pillars.

  2. Saint Michel - Another beautiful area with a pretty fountain. The perfect spot to sit and have coffee.

  3. Saint Germain - My favorite neighborhood to wind down with a cocktail.

  4. Le Marais - The Jewish quarter and home of the best falafel. Just follow the line.

  5. Sacré-Cœur - Take the tram or walk to the top for the best view of Paris. Finish the day by exploring Montmarte. Moulin Rouge fans, you will love walking through the area that brought the movie to life! The Moulin Rouge itself is not too exciting to look at and is in a pretty grimy neighborhood, but it’s pretty cool that you can actually see a burlesque show there. Be warned, it’s about 200€ a ticket. 💸

  6. Centre Pompidou - I don’t generally care for museums, but this one is full of the most bizarre modern art and I can’t get enough. My favorite piece is a painting of wings with a paper plate of paints stuck to the middle.

  7. Palais Garnier - This is one of the opera houses with the most breathtaking interior. You can walk around, take a tour, or buy tickets to see a show there.

  8. Louvre - I’m sure this one’s already on your list, but it’s not all about the Mona Lisa. :) I would go all the time just to see my favorite painting, La Jeune Martyre. Let me know if you find it!

  9. Ladurée - Because, Paris!

  10. Versailles - This one’s a day trip out of Paris, but highly recommend. The palace is so beautiful and the gardens there are magnificent.

Feel free to add your own recs in the comments below!

xx Esther
