The Only Checklist You'll Need // Wedding Wednesday

The Only Checklist You'll Need // Wedding Wednesday

Planning a wedding is no easy feat, but WeddingWire’s master checklist makes the task a lot less daunting. Aside from the big and obvious jobs like booking a hall and a band, there are so many small details that could easily be forgotten without a planning tool like WeddingWire’s checklist keeping you on schedule. Not only does the checklist include every detail, but it goes in order of priority and even gives deadlines based on your wedding date.

The checklist starts with engagement, from announcing the good news to booking your engagement shoot, and then jumps straight into wedding planning. First things first is figuring out your budget, which WeddingWire also helps you calculate and manage with their Budget tool. The list continues with tasks like choosing a color, wedding date, and hall, and by each, WeddingWire offers recommendations and helpful articles relating to the topic. I especially loved following the links to venue options and I actually pulled together my favorites for a previous post.

The list is customizable, so you’re able to add your own to-do’s as well as remove anything that isn’t relevant to you. I removed some tasks like booking a DJ and writing vows since my husband and I went with a band and a handwritten card exchange, but added some of my own to remind me to buy bubbles, confetti, and sparklers. All were a hit at the wedding!

With a thousand details to take care of simultaneously, I’m so grateful to WeddingWire’s checklist because I definitely would have forgotten a couple, like creating a wedding hashtag and finding gifts for my bridal party. To all my brides, WeddingWire’s checklist will save you as you’re getting ready to tie the knot, and to my future brides, this is definitely one of those tidbits you’ll want to save to memory.

*Thank you WeddingWire for sponsoring this post!

xx Esther
