John Paul Ataker Fashion Show Spring/Summer 2017

John Paul Ataker SS17 was not just a show, it was an experience. The pastel-colored collection, classical music, and soft white lighting made you feel like you were in the midst of a beautiful Spring morning! It was a breath of fresh air as the models flooded the runway showcasing colors of white, sage, baby blue, light pink, and pops of metallic neutrals.

The hair and makeup of the models consisted of minimal makeup and crown braids reinforcing  the romantic theme of his collection. However, the silhouette of each look was very tailored. There was not a poofy ballgown nor tulle material in sight! All the dresses were silky and tailored. There were also many looks showcasing tailored trousers with matching blouses providing the perfect combination of sophisticated and feminine.

John Paul Ataker SS17 was truly a gorgeous show highlighting the beauty of both femininity and masculinity through the use of soft pastel colors paired with a structured silhouette.
