Black Lace Back Dress

I don't think I can even consider these photos the product of a photoshoot. They are more precisely the result of a 5 minute coffee break photo-op that I had with my sister in order to get an outfit details pic for my Instagram page. I guess there's no more appropriate time than now to say that if you're not following me on Instagram already, you should be. ;) 

After taking a few shots of my lace back, we also attempted to create a slow-mo video of me running up and down the stairs while swinging my hair back and forth in order to show off my new haircut. Let me tell you, there is no motivation for exercise like having a camera in your face and a photographer telling you to reset for the 10th time so she can try a different angle. The video actually turned out pretty cool, but I'm giving my sister editing control, so I will post it as soon as it is ready to view.

This lace dress is actually so much greater than your typical LBD because little did you know, it's actually a romper with a skirt overlay. And few clothing articles get me excited like a romper on a winter day. The entire back of this dress/romper is actually floral lace mesh, but I threw on my black Brandy Melville bralette underneath to add the bar detail.
