Black Cape Dress and Suede Booties

Every true fashionista needs some sort of cape. This is mine. 

I still have a black capelet coat at the top of my wishlist, but while on my hunt for the perfect capelet, I found this amazing cape dress. There is a sort of automatic elegance that comes with a cape dress, one that lets you leave the fancy jewelry at home and get right down to business. I am wearing nothing but a black dress, booties, and my signature midi rings, but I honestly feel that my look is complete. 

Now I'll go on my usual tangent and tell you all that I'm very excited to be featuring a blogger friend of mine in an upcoming post. After speaking with Blair Eadie of Atlantic-Pacific at the Joe Fresh Winter Magic Party, my friend and I became determined to play the roles of both model and photographer by practicing with each other. These cape dress shots are from our trial photoshoot, so can't wait to show you all what's next!
