Feminine Edgy Look For The Holidays // Payless

I dress pretty casually in my day-to-day life, but I love an excuse to get dolled up. Holiday season is as good a reason as any. My company throws an annual holiday party, so I started thinking how I could dress up my everyday style without going over the top. I think shoes are the easiest way to update any look. Even a pair of jeans can be made fancy with a gorgeous pair of heels. I found these black pointy toe lace up heels in the Christian Siriano collection for Payless, which is seriously amazing. They are the perfect balance of edgy and feminine, which is what I aim for in all my outfits.

Once I had the shoes, the rest of the look came together right away, especially since black goes with literally everything. The metallic skirt reminded me of the holidays and the leather jacket was to add a little edge. I very rarely wear heels to work since I’m always running around, but it will be such a nice change to show my colleagues that I do clean up nice. ;)
