Blush Pink Vest + Navy Turtleneck // Banana Republic
I met Banana Republic's Global Style Ambassador, Olivia Palermo, a couple times and to say the least, her style is enviable. She knows just the right way to layer and mix patterns and she looks good in absolutely everything. Olivia’s been a style icon of mine since way before I even met her and she’s actually the inspiration behind this look. I saw a photo of her in this Banana Republic turtleneck, got it immediately, and then created this entire outfit around it. The long blush pink vest is also from Banana Republic and I just love how it instantly transforms the look.
Navy and blush pink is one of my favorite color combos. I don’t wear as much color as I used to, but I blame that on Instagram. One of the best tips I ever read which I recently started incorporating on Instagram is being consistent in the colors I wear. It helps keep my feed cohesive. I spoke about that more in depth in a previous post, but to update you all, it’s really working!
Anyway, I hope everyone’s having a nice weekend! I’m taking a break from shooting this Sunday to spend time with my friend who came in town and maybe catch up on some flatlays. What are you up to?
