One of my greatest challenges as a fashion blogger is keeping my followers up to date in real time. I've gotten so bogged down with the masses of content I create from shooting outfit posts, attending Fashion Week, and spending my nights event hopping across NYC that I still have unfinished and unpublished posts dating back almost 6 months. (Truth)

Due to this unfortunate fact, I have kick-started my New Year's resolutions with the daunting task of getting caught up - a goal I hope to attain by the end of February. We'll see.

But, before I get carried away with September's big news of yellow taking over as the hottest color for Spring, let me give you the lowdown from tonight's Joe Fresh Winter Magic Party, featuring Danielle Bernstein from WeWoreWhat (my blogger icon), Blair Edie from Atlantic-Pacific (one of the first fashion blogs I'd ever heard of), and Julia Engel from Gal Meets Glam (a blogger favorite).

I got there at 6PM on the dot since I had no idea what madness would ensue. Thankfully, guests at blogger events are much more civilized than those at celebrity meet-and-greets. Each of the bloggers were stationed at a different photo booth and people formed perfectly straight lines leading up to them. Everyone also waited patiently as you spoke with the blogger. But the best thing about an event filled with fashionistas and bloggers... When you ask the person behind you in line to take a pic of you and the blogger, she'll take ten. And you don't even have to ask.

Blair from Atlantic-Pacific was the first blogger I saw roaming around at Joe Fresh. Her photo booth hadn't been set up yet and the only line so far in the store was the one for getting your caricature done, so I took my sweet time and asked Blair every blogging question I've ever had.

My top priority right now is finding a photographer, so I asked her who she uses. She is one of those super lucky fashion bloggers who has her husband take all her pictures. He isn't a professional photographer, but over the years (since 2010), he's learned.

Blair recently moved to NYC where she works for Tory Burch full-time, somehow still managing to maintain her blog. She told me that blogging is not and has never been her end game and she would ideally love to go on to be a creative director somewhere (maybe even open her own company like Tory).

I asked her a hundred other questions, but here are her responses to just a couple more.

In terms of blogger x company collaborations, she said the main thing is just to stay true to your brand. Want to review a phone case on your fashion blog? No problem! But you better love that phone case.

Out of pure curiosity, I asked her how all the famous bloggers started hanging out with each other. She said she doesn't have too many fashion blogger friends since she is so busy working with Tory and running her blog, but they're all friendly just from being at a lot of the same events.

After talking with Blair, I saw Danielle Bernstein from WeWoreWhat arrive to the event. She is everything a fashion blogger should aim to be, so stylish, personable, and fun. Literally, her catch phrase of the night was, "Wanna take a selfie?" So, we did.

Danielle and I spoke for a while. She let me in on all her favorite photo editing apps and even walked me through her process. First, she uses Snapseed where she brightens the photo, decreases the warmth, and adds contrast. Then, she uses VSCO and chooses a filter, her recommendations being F2, C2, G1, G2, and G3.

Towards the end of the night, Danielle grabbed me to come join a group shot. It is seriously the cutest pic! She actually posted it on Instagram, but not before she passed her phone around to let each of us tag ourselves in it.

Next I went to go meet Julia from Gal Meets Glam . I didn't spend as much time with her as I did with Blair and Danielle, but she did give me a mini motivational speech about making it as a fashion blogger. There's hope.

As the event started winding down, I saw these two guys jumping around at the photo booth. One of them looked so familiar, but I could not place him until my friend and I started talking to him and I realized he was Phil from America's Next Top Model (the bearded model who got a weave).

Phil introduced himself to me as a photographer, but he assured me he still models too. He then gave me the DL of what really goes down at the Top Model house... He said they were mic'd at all times and they were actually not allowed to speak when the mics were off. So, when the lights went off at night and whenever they were eating lunch on the bus, there was only silence. People would try to talk privately by hanging out in the jacuzzi, but those rocks next to it... fake rocks with microphones!

He also said he was the reason producers started giving reality stars microphone necklaces because he was always running around like a wild child, setting the mic off (whatever that means).
