Planner Heaven At The Erin Condren Launch Party
I am an agenda junkie. I used to spend close to an hour (maybe more) in Barnes & Noble searching for the perfect planner before every school year. Sometimes it would even take me multiple visits to the store before I found THE one. I take my planners seriously because they keep my life in order, so I’ve always had a long list of requirements. My planner needs to be small enough to fit in my bag, but big enough that I have room to write. It needs to have an adorable cover, but not be too girly or typical. I like to have a monthly calendar view in addition to a weekly layout. And most importantly, it has to just feel right.
I went to the Erin Condren LifePlanner™ launch party last month and Oh My G-d, I was in planner heaven. Her designs are so fun and bold and I am obsessed with the LifePlanner™ customizable options, from personalizing the front to choosing the weekly layout and picking the coil color. There are so many accessory options too, my favorite being the adorable, yet chic foiled sticker books. Hands down the best feature though is getting to choose the month the planner starts. I’ve been going crazy these days without a planner, trying to stay organized using the Notes app on my phone, but I’m a pens and paper kinda girl. I need to write down my to-do lists and physically cross items off to be my most productive self. I thought I missed my chance to use a paper planner once January 2017 hit, but not with Erin Condren. Yes, I could always get one mid-May and either just rip out the first four months or simply come to terms with all the blank pages, but my perfectionist side won’t let me.
The event took place at Dylan’s Candy Bar which was the perfect backdrop for the colorful planner collection. I was on a sugar high by the time I left after sipping on purple cocktails and eating mounds of Mr. Goodbar chocolates all night. The entire evening was Instagrammable with giant balloons, stacks of pretty planners, and champagne glasses filled with candy. I loved hanging out with my friends in such a happy setting and discovering the insanely fun Erin Condren collection. I want everything!
