Red Turtleneck Under Strapless Dress

I have a newfound turtleneck obsession. I'm not sure how it started because I used to swear off anything that had even a hint of a mock neck, but my new phase is here and my turtleneck collection is getting bigger by the week. Throwing a turtleneck under a strapless dress isn't revolutionary, but it's a trend I'd love to see take over. The look resonates perfectly with my officially defined "girly with an edge" style.

I originally wore this look to a blogger hosted V-Day party which inspired me to make a Valentine's Day outfit post of it, but clearly that didn't happen. Fashion Week came in and took over, leaving me no time to put the post together. But red and black is a color combo good for any day of the year. What do you think of strapless dresses as the new overalls?
