Currently Wearing // New York Fashion Week SS16

Happy New York Fashion Week, everyone! It's Day 1 and I am already EXHAUSTED. I'm not going to so many shows this season due to the unfortunate overlap of NYFW and the high holidays, but I've got enough going on in two days to hold me over for the week. Last night was this amazing Fashion Week Kickoff Party at 3NY hosted by blogger Lexicon of Style and bag designer Erin Dana and it really got me in the NYFW spirit. The party was the usual mix of alcoholic beverages and good music, but the most unusual thing happened at the end of the night. I actually won the raffle for an Erin Dana bag! I never win anything, but there I was being handed a microphone to accept my prize. Crazy!

You can't see it in these NYFW Day 1 outfit pics, but I'm actually wearing my new little blue Erin Dana backpack here. I'm sure you'll see it in plenty of outfit posts to come, but for now, here's a little look at what I wore to start off the week. 

And just when I thought life couldn't get better, I ran into my favorite sister duo, Aimee and Dani Song from Song of Style and Dani Song. And when I went to introduce myself to Aimee... She said she definitely recognized me. I die.
