Pleione Shirt Dress + Anyi Lu Wedges

Sometimes I just don’t want to get dressed. Sometimes I just want to stay in my pajamas all day, but since pajamas usually only constitute as bedtime attire, I guess this outfit is as close as it gets. Let’s be real, I absolutely love this shirt dress from Pleione, but it is basically a nightgown. It’s super soft, comfortable, extremely large, and it is probably one of my favorite pieces to throw on when having a lazy day.

It was also very exciting when I received my package from Pleione because I received my latest issue of InStyle at the same time, and while still holding my package, I flipped open the magazine to a Pleione ad featuring this same dress. Love when that happens!

I paired the shirt dress with these satin strappy wedges from Anyi Lu, a brand famous for producing comfortable footware. I’ve spent my fair share of days standing around in four inch heels and wedges, so I can definitely confirm the extent of just how much more comfortable these wedges are than others. I’m wearing The Cristina Wedges which I was particularly drawn to because of the striped platform. I also wanted a style that gave me some height, and these are one of Anyi Lu’s higher styles at 3 ¼”.

After receiving the wedges, I did some serious stalking on Anyi Lu’s product pages to understand the brand a little bit better. First off, the designer uses hand picked high quality Italian Nappa leather. Second thing was this surprising and admirable fact, “We use eight to ten foot models and up to 25 rounds of testing to ensure every shoe is as comfortable as possible.”

These shoes are definitely on the upscale side, but if you’re looking for that perfect pair of stylish shoes that puts comfort first, go for Anyi Lu.
