NYFW Marissa Webb Fashion Show Fall/Winter 2016
Marissa Webb has always been a designer I admire. I love her cool, casual style and layered looks. We've been following each other on Instagram for two years, I've attended three of her events, but every season I receive that dreaded rejection email saying the show is at capacity. (When you've been to as many shows as I have, you'll know the show is never actually at capacity. There is always room for one more.) Anyway, this season I was insistent on going, so I decided to message Marissa on Instagram. Approximately 1 minute later, she wrote back asking me if I got the invite she just sent. She is literally the sweetest.
The show was incredible. It was blogger central and I was lucky enough to find an empty front row seat. I would wear absolutely every piece Marissa put down the runway. There was a lot of grey, white, black, and yellow. I especially loved the grey layered looks and I just about died when the jacket with the big heart over the chest walked. LOVE. Marissa Webb's effortless style translates so well for ready-to-wear pieces and I cannot wait for her pieces to hit stores.
