NYFW À Moi Presentation Fall/Winter 2016
This morning I experienced my very first fashion event. I have to say it was ten times better than I could have ever imagined. The newest A MOI collection by Alejandra Alonso was a combination of black, camel and randomly scattered rich pigmented colors. As we know, Alejandra is very into the geometrical and abstract look. She was specifically inspired by Bauhaus typography, and many of the pieces had round endings and patterns. I love that because I've always been drawn to basic shapes within patterns. One outfit particularly called to me because it was completely my aesthetic and you would definitely see me walking down the street on a random day wearing4 it (shown above in slideshow). I still can’t decide which article of the outfit I loved most, the black leather angled jacket or the deep sea green shimmer flare pants. Either way, the combo was gorgeous.
