NYFW Josie Natori Fashion Presentation Fall/Winter 2016
I have a total obsession with the 1920’s. The fashion, the music, the excess- it is all so exciting. Esther and I arrived and were led downstairs through a dimmed pink stairwell. We entered a room that looked straight out of a Gatsby era movie. The room exuded old glamour and so did the clothing by designer Josie Natori. The ensembles were all evening wear, all with a Chinese inspiration and lots and lots of intricate beading. The collection's color palette was yellows, blacks, royal blues. My absolute favorite piece was a black silk gown with a painted Chinese landscape done in gold beading. The presentation was so stunning and definitely one of my top collections thus far.
