NYFW Veda Fashion Presentation Fall/Winter 2016

Veda came onto my radar the second I saw those freaking incredible Best Friend leather jackets everyone seems to be wearing these days. Veda's Fall/Winter 2016 Fashion presentation took place this morning and the collection was all equestrian vibes. The belts and bags had a major western feel, as well as the pantsuits. I was especially feeling the monochrome cropped jacket pantsuit, a modern twist on the classic style. My assistant and I spoke to Veda's designer, Lyndsey Butler, who explained that she loves to take an abstract painting and use it as the color palette for her collection. We saw a lot of reds and earthy tones at the show, definitely my kind of color scheme.
