Winter Whites and Bad Hair Day Beanie

The location could be perfect, but if the weather isn't cooperating, goodbye perfect hair. I swear my hair was as straight as it gets the morning of this shoot. Then the humidity hit. I think it would be an exaggeration to say it took 5 minutes for my hair to turn into what appears to be something between beach waves and a bad case of bedhead. Thank Gd for my Bad Hair Day Beanie, right?

The queen of beanies herself, Cara Delevingne, has this one and I knew I needed it the second I saw her wearing it. Thanks to Amazon, I found one for 5 bucks and had it in my hands only 30 days later. Ha.

I wore this beanie for the first time on New Years and one person I was with loved it so much that he bought himself one that night. Truth, I thought that was a bit strange and was perhaps a bit annoyed that he took away some of the excitement I had of having such an awesome, unique beanie.

Fast forward two weeks, I was picking up food from a restaurant and somewhere between the door and the car 20 feet away, I dropped my Bad Hair Day Beanie, never to be seen again. It's always devastating losing your favorite new purchase, so I decided to text my (copycat) friend the sad news.

Within a minute, he had already offered me his identical beanie and better yet, he dropped it off the next day. Let me make it official by putting this in writing: I now give him permission to copy me on every one of my wardrobe choices, as a backup, of course.
