Summer Whites And Teal Heels

Being one who frequently speaks of the tremendous opportunities, events, and experiences New York City offers, there is so much I have never seen, beginning with the Statue of Liberty -- but that can wait. Therefore, during my three day summer vacation last week, with my best friend in town, I made sure we had the ultimate New York Experience: vintage shopping, too much coffee, vegan sushi, and getting caught in the rain. I also happened to see Sleep No More and believe me, now I've seen everything.

All this New York madness was great; but I think the best part was when my friend pulled up to my apartment, woke me up with a phone call, and suggested the first thing we do is have a photoshoot. Yep, she's awesome.

White parties have always held my fascination, my sole knowledge of them originating from Gossip Girl. That fascination can be attributed to my obvious obsession with all-white outfits. As the weather is finally catering to my clothing preferences, I am upholding my promise to add more white on white outfit posts.

I am accustomed to the occasional stranger asking me the origins of a particular clothing article, but the day I walked outside in this outfit, I was stopped many more times than usual. One woman went so far as to halt me in my steps with a loud, "Excuse me!" When I turned around, ready to embrace some crazy-lady sidewalk rebuke, she instead gave me an exaggerated up-down, and exclaimed, "I like that!" I'm telling you, it's the white on white effect. So, get on it!
