Rachel Zoe Inspired: The Maxi Dress Trend

Rachel Zoe is indisputably one of my favorite fashion stylists, so when Rachel Zoe says to wear maxi dresses, I listen.  

If I could have dinner with any celebrity, it would definitely be her, and no else else could have said this better: “In my mind, being overdressed is not a bad thing at all. What’s the worst-case scenario? That you are the best-dressed person in the room? Who cares!”

A simple black maxi dress should be a staple in every girl's closet, but finding the perfect one was surprisingly challenging. Each one I tried on was either too short, sold out of my size, or ruched in the center. I shocked particularly myself that the one I ended up with was from Forever 21, a rather unfrequented store during my frequent shopping expeditions. This dress is definitely going to be my go-to for summer -- easy to throw on and super stylish.
