Surviving Winter With ASOS // 5 Hardest Parts Of Blogging
I’m sure I’m not the only one who gets lost on ASOS’ website, literally scrolling through page after page for hours, although lately I’ve been spending most of my time on their sweater selection. I’m a sweater addict and hoard all things cozy. Besides the fact that I always put comfort first when I get dressed, sweaters are the only way to make shooting outside without a coat bearable during the winter. I’ve spoken about this before, but there is probably nothing harder about the blogger life than standing in the freezing cold with no coat and trying to pose as wind hits you in the face. So thank you ASOS for at least minimizing the pain by sending over the most amazing sweaters that I have been living in. Just watch my Stories if you don’t believe me. ;)
On that note, here are the other 5 hardest parts of blogging.
- Editing photos
Because I try to maintain consistency with my photos, it could sometimes take me up to 10 hours to edit just one. And sometimes even after all that, I still don’t think it’s good enough to post. - Getting ready for photoshoots
Prepping for a shoot takes a lot of glamming and when I have an early call time, it means I’m waking up at the crack of dawn to do my hair and makeup. - Early call times.
The best time to shoot is actually right when the sun comes up, before all the people are out, and the light is super even. I’m not a morning person, so morning shoots are definitely rough for me. - Creating flatlays
They may look easy, but they are far from it. - Prioritizing
It’s easy to get carried away with editing, but there are about 100 other aspects of the blogging life that people don’t see, so it’s important to learn how to prioritize in order to make sure everything gets done.
