Softer Lips With Clarins Lip Oil

I don’t remember the last time I left the house without something on my lips. A bold lip is honestly my signature at this point, and being as Clarins is a favorite brand of mine, I was excited to try their new Instant Light Lip Comfort Oils. The lip oil can be worn alone as a moisturizer or it can be applied before or after lipstick as either a primer or a gloss. I like to keep my lips moisturized, but semi-matte, so the lip oils have been serving as a great primer for me. I just swipe some on as I prep my face for makeup and then my lips are fully moisturized by the time I apply lipstick.

The oils come in seven different color options, some shimmery and one even comes in mint flavored. My favorites are the Candy and Tangerine shades which react to your lips’ PH to give you a customized shade of pink. I love the subtle plumping benefits and the massive paddle shaped applicator, which actually feels like velvet. The formula is thick, but the oil melts on your lips and leaves them feeling hydrated and soft.
