Amare Jewels is a jewelry company bound together by beauty, heritage, and most importantly, sisterhood. The brand has been made possible by Andrea and Allison, two sisters who traveled all the way from Morocco to New York City as a means to fulfill their dreams. A popular accessory trend that this sister duo dabbles in creating is the choker. Chokers were extremely popular in the 90’s but they’ve made a serious comeback. I know chokers can be somewhat intimidated to the more reserved fashionista, but with so many options, there’s bound to be one for everybody. Typically, you have your choice of velvet, charmed, wired, simplistic, or layered. My favorite kind: All of the above.

Amare Jewels makes necklace layering easy. I picked 3 styles that I love individually and together. I particularly love the star choker mixed with the white pendant necklace, but it also looks amazing with the simple black choker, which complements basically everything I own. As I’ve been moving towards a more neutral based wardrobe, the black choker has become my go-to. It keeps things simple and on trend at the same time. I even wore it for a modeling job with Almay Cosmetics. It’s my fav.
