Printed Mini Skirt + Henri Bendel Pom Pom Beach Tote
I don’t even remember the last time I wore this much color. I think the Henri Bendel Pom Pom Beach Tote had something to do with it. One color simply led to the next. As a wannabe minimalist, I have a very strange relationship with color. Pastels, beautiful. Brights, love. Neons, bring it on. But black and white… that’s everything. Add greys, nudes, and beiges and you’ve got my dream wardrobe palette right there. I guess there’s just a time and place for color in my life, and when I’m feeling it, I go all the way. This pink, purple, and blue look was a tribute to the beginning of Spring.
Literally the second Spring hit, event invitations started rolling in. It’s been one party after the next. I'm actually on my way home from a focus group I participated in that was hosted by my fav blogger network. Becoming part of a network was probably one of the highlights of my blogging career. Since I joined, I've been offered paid collab opportunities as well as networking opportunities with a bunch of other bloggers. I'm only mentioning it because it's clearly on my mind at the moment and I wish someone had told me about such a network when I started my website. My network, Out Of Office, focuses on the physical face-to-face get togethers which are what cultivate such strong blogger relationships, and it's not a secret... it's all about who you know. And you'd be surprised how many bloggers I've met through my network that I've then run into at various events, especially during Fashion Week. Even though we're all fighting for the spotlight, it makes it easier when you connect with people who have the same goals and maybe even want do a shoot with you sometime.
