Packing For Greece // Timbuk2 Hyde Tote

Let this post begin the newest travel segment on L&L! I don’t know about you, but when I'm getting ready for a trip, before I can even start thinking about outfits, I need to know what bag I’ll be packing them in. So I figured I’d start the segment with what I consider one of the best quality tote bags out there, the Timbuk2 Hyde Tote. I was actually introduced to the brand a few years ago when I saw my cousin walking around with his Timbuk2 messenger bag, and I was just as impressed then as I am now.

First and foremost, this bag is made of high quality canvas with genuine leather trim. This is definitely an important factor for choosing a travel bag because the last thing you want is your bag to tear as you’re stuffing it with the 20 souvenirs you just picked up. I had a backpack break on me recently as I was out and about - not a fun experience.

Next, I just want to point out my absolute favorite features, beginning with pocket space! When buying a bag, I always look for pockets, and this bag has outside stash pockets, as well as internal stash and zippered pockets. Another plus is that this tote has a zipper closure, so I don’t have to worry too much about pickpockets as I roam around Europe. There’s also a key fob which is a huge plus since with my current purse, I’m constantly digging for my keys.

And the best part for last... The Hyde Tote is expandable! Its expandability is actually the reason I was drawn to this particular Timbuk2 bag. As well as the cute striped interior lining, of course. ;)

I won’t be traveling with my computer to Europe, so make sure to follow me on Instagram @LouboutinsAndLove and Snapchat @EstherSanter for live travel updates!
