Castle & Hammock Photoshoot with Canada's Next Top Model
I cannot deny my love of fashion photoshoots. I could spend all day on set and then wish for rollover shoot time when night falls and it's time to wrap up. I owe much of my on set time to photographer Chris Fanning who lets me to assist on various shoots. I was particularly thrilled when I got his invite to the Castle & Hammok photoshoot.
The model casted for the Castle & Hammock shoot was Meaghan Waller. Killer bod, sick poses, and happens to be the winner of Canada's Next Top Model cycle 3.
Watching Meaghan contort her body into interesting poses all at the same time seeing the pros transform the studio into various sets was simply stated - inspiring. The constant rethinking and rearranging the room and props brought the creative aspect I have always craved to the job.
The shoot was for Castle & Hammock loungewear and Meaghan made me want to buy every last piece, the only issue being the $400 Barneys New York prices. One day.
As every day on set starts, we got our morning coffee and got right to work.
Throughout the day, I practiced my iphone photography skills as I snapped behind-the-scene pics as Chris Fanning captured breathtaking lifestyle shots of Meaghan.
As if there needed to be another excitement inducing factor involved, Meaghan mentioned she is the face on many Barneys, Nordstrom, and Bloomingdales' product pages. I only stalk those sites, so now every time I see her face, I have a name to put with it.
