January Resolutions? February Goals

For the first time in my life, I can’t say that January was my most productive month of the year. I didn’t even make resolutions. My mind has just been all over the place and hello insomnia, so rather than try to force myself to focus on work, I decided to lean into my other passions.

I finally picked up my guitar for the first time in months and even cracked open the big box of crayons Crayola sent me awhile back. Drawing has become one of my favorite ways to unwind lately, so my cousin and I actually spent an entire day painting at her BK apartment last week. The vision in my head looked a whole lot better than how my canvas turned out lol, but creating it was by far the greatest four hours of therapy.

That said, I’ve got quite a bit of making up to do on the business front now, so here’s to starting February out strong. Even though I love a good New Year’s resolution, I find that actionable monthly goals are a much better fit for my personality, so here’s what’s on the agenda this month:

- Lock in a long term partnership that I’ve been working on since last year (!!!)
- Batch create IVF video content for people to use as a resource
- Set aside 30 minutes a day to respond to messages
