36 Weeks Pregnant // One Month Countdown

OFFICIALLY ENTERED MY 9TH MONTH! Let the 4 week countdown begin…⁣

My life has changed drastically over the past year, but pregnancy has been the most incredible experience for me. Sure, I’ve got the terrible back pain and my ribs hurt and I don’t know how I’ll ever get back to my original size, but I have watched our little baby grow from the teeniest, tiniest microscopic embryo. I watched as that embryo was implanted in my uterus on a big screen above my head and I prayed and prayed as I begged Gd to let it stick. I went in for weekly bloodwork and ultrasound appointments to check its progress and held my breath every time as I waited for the doctor to show me its growth. I remember the moment our little one became the size of a poppy seed, then a grape, then a peach… and I celebrated so hard when we made it safely through the first trimester. Well, baby is now the size of a watermelon 🍉 and we’re just about near the end of this part of the journey. There is so much to look forward to now, but man, I’m going to miss those little kicks so much and the way I get to take baby with me everywhere I go. But I think the hardest part of letting go of this magical time is not knowing how and when it will happen for me again, so don’t mind me as I cherish every moment I have left.
