Where We Stayed On Our Honeymoon // Hotel Eiffel Blomet Paris

Walking into our suite at the Hotel Eiffel Blomet in Paris was one of the most exciting travel experiences I’ve ever had. We felt like rockstars, welcomed with champagne and a beautiful flower arrangement placed in the sitting room where we entered. That room led to an area with a Nespresso machine and tea bags, followed by the most incredible bathroom. The bathroom decor was really fun in horizontal black and white stripes that covered the walls and bathtub. There was a heated towel rack, remote controlled bidet, and the softest bathrobes hanging up, which we put on almost immediately. The last room was the bedroom which had the most comfortable bed and was connected to a huge terrace overlooking Paris. You could even see part of the Eiffel tower. We absolutely loved hanging out there, enjoying the fresh air and eating outside.

Half the travel experience is the hotel you choose and we could not have chosen better. My husband loves swimming, so he put in the request that we find a hotel with a pool. I can’t say that’s too common in Paris, so the fact that Hotel Eiffel Blomet not only had a pool, but an entire spa with a sauna, steam room, and manicurists on hand was a major plus. It rained a lot during our time in Paris, so we were really happy to have indoor activities. We also wanted to stay in a good location and the Eiffel Blomet is in the 15th arrondissement, only a few metro stops from all the main attractions and only a short walk to the Eiffel Tower.

Part of Hotel Eiffel Blomet’s charm was the fabulous staff. They were extremely friendly and attentive and answered any questions we had. Fast wifi and delicious breakfast were some other major perks. We ordered breakfast up to our room the first morning and it arrived within 15 minutes on a beautifully arranged silver tray stocked with croissants, baguettes, and a freshly brewed pot of coffee. On our second morning, we decided to check out the breakfast buffet downstairs. There were hot options like scrambled eggs, cold options like cut up fruit and cheese, and of course, my favorite part, a Nespresso machine with every flavor coffee you can imagine. I stopped myself at two cups, but thoroughly enjoyed dipping my baguette in my coffee, a habit I picked up when I used to live in Paris.

The hotel offers other amenities like complimentary umbrellas (which we used) and an honesty bar (where my husband frequented). The honesty bar was essentially twenty or so bottles of really nice liquor set up in the lobby. Guests were able to take as much as they wanted, at only 8 euro a glass, but asked to write it down to be charged upon checkout. There is also a luggage room where we were able to leave our suitcases while we spent the day at Le Centre Pompidou, my favorite modern art museum, which was only a 20 minute walk away.

Choosing a honeymoon spot wasn’t easy, but Hotel Eiffel Blomet could not have made for a more perfect romantic getaway. From our spacious and comfortable suite to the fluffy bathrobes and a jetted pool, we were in absolute paradise. Thank you for the most lovely stay!
