White Silk Top // Chelsea and Walker

Blogger mail is awesome. It’s basically a never ending stream of packages that comes almost daily, sometimes multiple boxes at once. I don’t always know when things are coming and I don’t always know what’s in the packages, so the other week when I received a large envelope with my name on it, I instinctively took scissors and cut the end off. I was practically heartbroken when I realized it was a gorgeous white 100% silk top in that envelope, and when I cut it open, I had also cut a chunk out of the shirt. The top was a stunning silk button down with sheer inserts and I completely ruined it. It also happened to be a $250 top and one of the greatest gifts I have ever received. I wasn’t sure if I should contact the company and let them know, but I loved it so much that I couldn’t help but ask for a new one. AM PR took the news very well and while they couldn’t replace the exact style, they sent over another silk white top that sufficed as a beautiful alternative, which I’m wearing in this look.

Switching over from summer to fall dressing isn’t easy. The weather is unpredictable so you may not want to wear knits or tall boots yet. Booties; however, are the perfect transitional piece, and these Ivanka Trump fringe ones just so happen to be my favorite. This long sleeve Chelsea and Walker silk top also makes a great transitional piece because it adds coverage without adding weight.
