Currently Coveting // V-Day Inspired
Certain things come to mind when I think of February: the cold, that it’s the shortest month, the color pink, candy and particularly, Valentine's Day. Stores turn pink and red. Hearts, chocolates and roses overflow everywhere you go. It's an enchanting time. I'm a big believer in celebrating the holiday, even if you don't have a significant other. It's a time to really appreciate anyone in your life. To step back and send out love. It’s about giving your best friend a box of chocolates because she tolerates your mood swings and makes sure you don't leave the house looking like garbage. Or appreciating your parents for everything they’ve done for you, even though they may drive you up a wall. To loving your amazing roommates for all the wisdom they give. (Best advice they gave me: When you break up with someone, take a shot and move on.)
Remember the little things and the little ones that add so much to your life everyday. Celebrate loving one another. Through love, the world becomes more beautiful. One great way to show your love is through gifts. I absolutely love treating my friends. I chose these pieces because they are whimsical and remind me of all things sweet and lovely. Ps. I actually celebrate the day after Valentine’s. Because that's when chocolate’s on sale. ;)
