Calico Fur + Henri Bendel Rivington Tote

Fashion blogging is hard. It’s a demanding, crazy competitive, 24/7 job and either you make it…or you don’t. If I had to judge my current success, I’d say I fall somewhere in the middle. Some days I feel on top of the world, like I’m really going places and others, I feel like background noise in the world’s largest blender. The day Henri Bendel pitched a collab opportunity, I felt like Chiara Ferragni on one of her travel adventures. Basically, I felt amazing.

Henri Bendel is one of those stores you walk past on 5th Ave and feel the need to go inside to admire the stunning bags and accessories or at least take a second to window shop. Their collections are beautiful! Even their iconic brown and white shopping bags speak to me.

The blush pink Rivington Tote I’m wearing in these outfit pics is from Henri Bendel's newest collection. The bag is roomy enough to carry all your essentials, as well as all the other random items that somehow always end up in your purse (like chopsticks and an extra pair of socks. Anyone else relate?). It’s also got the most incredible chain closure front pocket detail. This is the first structured bag I’ve ever owned and I could not be happier that it’s from a brand I love so much.

This outfit is a bit busier than I usually wear, but I just had to pair such a classy bag with a looks-way-more-expensive-than-it-is fur vest and fancy heels. One woman even stopped me on the street to ask if the vest was mink. Nope, not quite. Can’t wait to show you 500 other ways to wear my favorite new bag!
