Holiday Look: White Glitter Dress + Elahn Jewels

I used to work for a lingerie company. One of my responsibilities was shopping for buyers' meetings. I would spend the day walking down 5th Ave, sorting through racks at Bloomingdales, and working my way through Soho, looking for inspiration. I would buy anything and everything that we could show to buyers as an example of where we'd like to take the line in the coming season. I went with basic themes in mind, ditsy florals, conversational pieces, colorblocking... And I would run with it. If I saw a beautiful Oscar De La Renta floral pajama set that could inspire our next printed bra, I bought it. No looking at price tags. No credit card limit. By the end of the day, my arms would be sore from lugging around so many purchases, but I always loved the special treatment I'd get walking into stores with so many bags. Workers would hold my bags, get me drinks, and follow me around in case I needed anything. I was living like the the wealthy and I loved every second.

I had a similar experience recently when I attended Ivanka Trump's Girls' Night In, and I'm not even talking about the butler, fancy cocktails, and ridiculous swag bags. I attended the party dripping in diamonds from Elahn Jewels. I don't think I've ever even worn diamonds before that night, excluding all the times I tried on friends' engagement rings. I wore Elahn Jewels' rose cut diamond earrings and the most beautiful diamond rings, one with a massive rock of an emerald. The earrings definitely got the most attention, but I was admiring the emerald ring all night. I felt like an East Side socialite and I loved every second.
