NYFW Monique Lhuillier Fashion Show Fall/Winter 2016

The Monique Lhuillier fashion show was so good that both Batsheva and I have to talk about it. The weather was subzero and we even had a ride, but we were running so late that we actually had to jump out of the car and run the last couple blocks. Fortunately, we made it right on time and we even got pretty good seats. The second we sat down, Batsheva noticed Hilary Duff, so I ran over to get a selfie with her. Paparazzi was insane so I had only enough time to tell her, "You are my childhood." On the way, I saw Jaycee from Damsel and Dior as well as Jennifer Morrsion from Once Upon A Time, who I didn't even recognize and apparently knocked into.

The show was the most beautiful one we've seen so far this Fashion Week with long metallic accented sheer dresses, hi-low structured gowns, front slitted thick tweed skirts, and 3D floral embellishments. There was also a lot of yellow and red pops throughout the collection, which are colors we've seen repetitively this week. Overall, obsessed with every piece that walked and honestly can't pick a favorite.
